Assessors: The Assessor's office can answer questions regarding how you taxable value and assessment was calculated, property ownership and address questions, property transfer affadivits and personal property tax exemptions. Phone: 517.483.4020
Income Tax: Responsible for the collection and auditing of Income Tax returns for both City of Lansing Resident, Non-Residents and Businesses. Homeowners: There are several agencies in our area that provide home ownership counseling. Just click on our link "homeowners" to find these valuable resources.
Treasury: Responsible for collection of all revenue and remittances to the City and oversee the depositing and safekeeping of City funds, monies and securities. We also receive payments of special assessments, nuisance fees, diversion program fees and trash cart payments. We also disperse subpoena reimbursements for court appearances. These functions are done in a responsible manner as to maximize financial resources available to meet the needs of the City and its citizens. Phone: 517.483.4121
